IPL
Skin rejuvenation, also known as IPL or Intense Pulsed Light Laser Therapy, stimulates collagen production to help reduce pigmentation and other skin imperfections. A more youthful appearance can be achieved as well as firmer skin and smaller pores.
Several types of skin conditions are treated with IPL using powerful bursts of light energy without damaging the surface of the skin. Examples include sun spots, wrinkles, pigmented acne scarring, rosacea, and vascular conditions.
An IPL treatment is particularly effective in treating sun-damaged skin that suffers from redness, freckles, brown spots, and uneven texture.

FAQ
How many treatments are recommended?
Each IPL Rejuvenation treatment delivers noticeable improvements, but for maximum results, it is recommended to schedule 4 – 6 treatments every 4 weeks. Combining in clinic treatments with at home skincare will yield the highest value and results.
What does it feel like?
Whenever the IPL handpiece is applied, you will feel a sting, similar to the snapping of a small rubber band on your skin.
How safe is IPL skin rejuvenation?
A trained, certified technician can perform IPL Photofacial therapy safely and effectively.
We are a professional skin care clinic that will not perform any procedures unless we have established a complete medical history and the potential for complications. Additionally, we provide all clients with protective eyewear that must be worn during treatment.
Who is suitable for the treatment?
Freckles, sunspots, blemishes, and other hyperpigmented areas can be effectively treated with IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatments, acne scars; sun damage and/or redness, broken capillaries, uneven skin tone and stubborn melasma can be effectively treated with IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatments. IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatments are suitable for clients with fair skin (types 1–3).
What is the process of the treatment?
Light pulses are used in IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatments to generate heat that stimulates collagen production. As a result, lighter, brighter-looking skin is achieved through the use of light therapy. It also helps reduce pore size, reduces pigmentation and redness.
A smooth, flat piece of glass is gently placed on the skin to transmit light to the skin. The wavelength of the IPL is absorbed by the skin, stimulating fibroblasts - cells that produce collagen in connective tissue.
When can I expect to see results?
As the pigment fragments are absorbed by the body, results will appear within weeks if treating freckles, sunspots, or other hyperpigmented areas.
What areas can I have treated?
Various parts of the body can be treated with IPL Skin Rejuvenation, including the face, chest, neck, and hands.
What can I expect after my treatment?
You may feel "sunburned" immediately after your treatment, and the treated area may be red for several hours following the treatment. After the treatment, clients who have pigmentation will notice that the pigment darkens. The pigmentation will gradually harden and flake off over the next two weeks.
